Introduction to Nonfiction

Explore autobiography, memoir, personal essays, and writing about the natural world in this 6-week class. We will start with basic story structure, so if you haven’t written before, begin with us! This class is also suitable for those who have taken writing classes before, including this one. The intent is to create a safe space for all levels of students to share their experiences creatively.

The workshop will include: sample readings of each nonfiction form, in-class and out-of-class writing, and group workshop and discussion in a supportive and inspiring environment.
