Free Workshop in November

RAISE YOUR STAKES!

What makes a story gripping? Which plots are compelling rather than corny? How does a writer keep readers on the edges of their seats? This fiction workshop will focus on tension in stories: how to establish it, build it, and resolve it.
  • Monday, November 21, from 5:30-7:30 pm
  • Springfield Public Library, 225 5th Street
  • Free and open to the public
PRESENTERS
Claire Luchette is from Chicago, kind of. She is passionate about hydration, female vocalists, tunnels, and mail. She writes and reads in bed, with snacks.
Leah Velez is from Chicago, without the caveat.  She writes weird stories, and gets hiccups when she eats dry foods.

These free workshops are brought to you by Springfield Public Library and Wordcrafters in Eugene with support from the Springfield Library Foundation.
