ACE YOUR APP: College Essay Mentor Day


Need help with your college entrance essay? Gain confidence and clarity in your writing with free one-on-one mentoring from professional writers and writing experts.

Hosted by Wordcrafters in Eugene, in partnership with the Eugene Public Library, and the Springfield Public Library.
Objective advice to help you write a solid and successful application essay:
  • Tips for how best to present yourself in your college essay.
  • De-mystify the application writing process.
  • Focused time to get it done.
This event is free and open to high school seniors in the Eugene, Springfield, and surrounding areas. In order to participate, you must bring a neatly handwritten or printed copy of your essay draft to the event. Pre-registration is required.
To make this event as accessible as possible, it is being held on two different dates, in different locations: the Downtown Eugene Public Library on November 8th, and the Springfield Public Library on November 13th. All students are welcome at either event regardless of where their school is located (ie, Springfield students are welcome to attend in Eugene and vice versa).

There are 3 session times to choose from. Register to meet with a writing mentor at 5:00pm, 6:00pm, or 7:00pm.
