The inaugural Wordcrafters Conference was a tremendous success! Everybody learned, everybody laughed, many people danced (and not only at the Introvert’s Ball), and there were a few tears, particularly at the Student Short Story Contest award ceremony and at Terry Brooks’s closing inspirational talk. None of us will forget Elizabeth George‘s amazing talk about writing from, to, and within the darkness, and Susan Wiggs‘s spot-on symptoms of “You might be a writer if….”
All of our presenters gave generously of their time and money to support our fledgling organization and most importantly, our young writers program. For that, we will be eternally grateful.
