Take a deep dive into the development of character psychology, sociology, and physiology; then learn to translate these abstract concepts into concrete character behavior and narrative on the page. You will walk away with a deeper sense of how character perceptions, behaviors, and dialog cause the reader to feel the nature of a character and how that feeling allows the reader to understand how and why the character has changed in a story.
