Come write dynamic first paragraphs with Nina Kiriki Hoffman at this free library workshop, November 19!
Writing a Dynamic First Paragraph — and Beyond!
You only get one chance to make a first impression. When it comes to getting a reader (or editor) to stick with you, the first paragraph can make or break your story. In this workshop, we’ll look over examples of good and bad first paragraphs, discuss what a first paragraph needs to include, and do a writing exercise to help develop exciting first lines.
  • Monday, November 19, from 5:30-7:30 pm
  • Springfield Public Library |  225 5th Street, Springfield
  • Free and open to the public
