Springfield Library July

Flash Fiction

Monday, July 25, 5:30-7:30, FREE

Springfield Public Library, 225 N 5th St, Springfield

Sudden fiction, flash fiction, micro fiction, the short-short story…whatever you call them, these slim compositions pack a lot of story into just a few words. In spite of their small size, short shorts give you plenty of room to explore genre, form, and to create rich characters and worlds. In this workshop, we will look at multiple ways of defining brief narrative, and we’ll also try out some methods for creating such stories out of thin air.
