This workshop will focus on developing short plays. Our Step Into Theater Workshops will be taught by Connie Bennett and Paul Calandrino.

Monday, September 11 – 5:30-7:30 PM
Springfield Public Library

Tuesday, September 12 – 5:30-7:30 PM
Eugene Public Library

Workshop Description:
Learn the craft of playwriting from local playwrights Connie Bennett and Paul Calandrino and then submit your scene for exhibition! Wordcrafters in Eugene, in partnership with the City of Eugene, is searching for new work to refresh “Step Into Theater,” a series of (very!) short plays by local authors exhibited in the stairwells of the Overpark garage on Oak Street. Participants in this workshop will get a chance to develop evocative short plays, which they can then submit to the “Step into Theater” Call for Submissions. For more information about the “Step Into…” contests and workshops, go to wordcraftersineugene.org/stepinto.
