Wordcrafters Workshops

Upcoming Workshops:

3-D Characters: From Flat to Fascinating
Monday, February 22, 2016, 5:30-7:30 pm
with Claire Luchette and Leah Velez
Do your characters sometimes feel flat? Are you looking for ways to make them more interesting? In this workshop, we will focus on using the outside world to reflect the inner lives of our characters. By looking at the world through our character’s eyes, and seeing objects and landscapes the way they do, we will breathe more life into our characters. All are welcome to join this free writing workshop presented by Wordcrafters in Eugene. Library Meeting Room.

Tuning the Metaphor
Monday, April 11, 2016, 5:30-7:30 pm
with Leah Gomez and Tia North
Shine the rust off of boring clichés, rewire images till they roar to life, and put a new coat of paint on an old classic. In this workshop, we will learn to construct beauty into poetry and prose, create flashes of understanding for complex or abstract ideas, and find the revving heart of writing. All are welcome to join this free writing workshop presented by Wordcrafters in Eugene. Library Meeting Room.
