Young Writers Summer Camp NaNo

Hey, Teens! Got what it takes to write a novel in a month? Join Wordcrafters Camp NaNo for a month of novel madness in July!!

What it is:

Based on the November novel-writing challenge National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), Camp NaNo offers you a summer option to get your novel on! Choose a goal from 20,000 – 50,000 words (or more!) and then write like the wind for 31 days!

Use the NaNo YWP guides to create and guide your novel-writing through the month. All participants will get a guide.

Where and When it is:

  • Camp NaNo Kick-off Monday, 29 June from 6:30-8:30 pm
  • July Write-Ins: every Monday in July from 6:30-8:30 pm
  • Final Celebration: Monday, 3 August from 6:30-8:30 pm

 Who it is:

Led by Wordcrafters instructor Daryll Lynne Evans and some special guests throughout the month.

  • Open to high schoolers (mature, driven middle school writers may be considered)
  • Pre-registration is required

How much is it?

Free and open to Lane County high school students. Suggested donation of $5 per week to help us cover the cost of supplies and copies.
