Mapping Your Memoir Memoir 6 Week Class

This workshop will teach you how to identify the most compelling parts of your personal story and organize them by era, theme, and/or subject into chapters for a full-length book. We'll focus on the creation of vivid scenes and characters, create a plot based on narrative arc, and discuss the ethics involved in writing about the people in our lives. You'll complete the class with a solid sense of how to map out and write your book-length memoir, chapter-by-chapter, with an eye for telling a creative and compelling life-story that will engage, inform, and entertain your readers.
