Wednesday, 15 July — Sarina Dorie joins us to talk about How to Sell a Short Story

Why write short stories, flash fiction and novellas? Come to this fast paced workshop to find out. Learn how to sell short fiction, where to find markets, what you need to include in a cover letter for short stories and more. Sarina Dorie has sold over sixty short stories to magazines and anthologies in the last four years. She will share her secrets to her success so that you find markets that suit your stories’ needs.

Sarina Dorie has worked as an English teacher and copy editor overseas, joined her first critique group when she was sixteen, and has been a member of Willamette Writers and Romance Writers of America for years. Sarina’s novel, Silent Moon (published by Soulmate Publishing), won second place in the Duel on the Delta Contest, second place in the Golden Rose, third place in the Winter Rose Contest and third in the Ignite the Flame Contest. Her unpublished novel, Wrath of the Tooth Fairy, won first place in the Golden Claddagh and in the Golden Rose contests.
