Registration is open for Words and Worlds: Writing and Performance Camp!

Join us July 23-27, 2018 for a writing and performing camp for girls ages 14-18. 

Wordcrafters in Eugene is partnering with SIRENS to create this special writing and performing camp to empower girls ages 14-18 to find and share their stories through poetry, story-telling, and performance.
Campers will:
  • Create Personal Fables
  • Find Stories in Songs
  • Explore Character and Story Arc
  • Tell Stories without Speaking
  • Perform 1-3 Minute Plays, Stories in Pairs, Spoken-Word Poetry

CAMP DETAILS
For Young Women* ages 14-18
Monday–Friday, July 23-27
Alton-Baker Park Picnic Structure
1:00-4:00 pm (Friday until 4:30 pm)
Limited to 12 participants each camp
Cost $197 Scholarships available*

 

*This program is for female-identified people. We use an inclusive definition of “girls”, “young women”, and “female” and we welcome trans girls, genderqueer young women, and non-binary people who are significantly female-identified.


**Scholarships: Two scholarships are available for camp. To apply, please write a brief statement (300 words or less) describing why you want to take this class and your financial need for a scholarship. Please include the following information with your statement:
